Controversial Kenyan blogger Robert Alai has launched a scathing attack against the National Super Alliance (NASA) flagbearer Raila Odinga and his entire family.

In an unexpected attack on Facebook, Alai claimed NASA is not broke as alleged by a cross section of the media.

According to the blogger, Raila Odinga and his family have been hording money because they are not in politics to redeem the country, but to fatten their bank accounts.

Alai, who has more than once landed in trouble for his controversial sentiments claimed that Raila is very comfortable with President Uhuru Kenyatta as President.

‘’ODM is not broke. Raila and his family are hoarding money because they are not in this to liberate the country but are out to make money. Raila is very comfortable with Uhuru as President.’’ Alai wrote on Facebook.

‘’He just doesn't want Ruto but he is strongly for the re-election of Uhuru. That's why he is not helping any of the candidates to fundraise nor is he spending anything more than he has already spent. That's the truth of the matter.’’ Alai added.

Alai remarks came barely a week after rumor mills went into overdrive with news that the NASA had run out of its campaign funds.

However, the Alliance claimed it had diverted its money to more important things like guarding their votes.
