Rosemary Odinga is recovering tremendously well, if a post by NASA co-principal Raila Odinga is anything to go by.

Raila’s daughter was flown to South Africa for specialized treatment on Monday, February 28, after being admitted to Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi for more than a week with a brain tumor.

Her father, opposition leader Raila Odinga, who has been away in the US on official business recently jetted into South Africa to check up on his daughter, whom he says is recovering very well.

Raila took to Facebook to give an update on Rosemary’s health, as well as issue appreciation to the public for their overall concern.

"We thank God for her terrific recovery, thanks to your prayers and her determination, Rozzy is well and sends greetings to all her friends and well wishers" His message read.

Rosemary was diagnosed with meningioma - a brain tumor which is not life threatening but can however cause blindness by applying pressure to the brain.

She recently made her move into elective politics after announcing that she would vie for the Kibra parliamentary seat on an ODM ticket.
